Melanie joined ONE group solutions in October 2019 as a Partner, responsible for all legal matters relating to ONE group’s activities. These include negotiating, drafting and reviewing a broad range of legal documents, managing external counsel and other advisers and contributing to the implementation of an effective risk management framework.
Immediately prior to this, Melanie spent two years as a Professional Support Lawyer with Elvinger & Hoss in Luxembourg, providing support in identifying and developing case-specific legal documents to populate the firm’s precedent database which was the fulcrum for all groups within the practice. In addition, she drafted templates, contracts and memos with Partners in corporate, financial and investment funds law.
Her career has also taken her to Bermuda where she worked as a Precedent Attorney for Mello Jones & Martin and to Toronto where she spent five years as an Attorney with Heenan Blaikie LLP, specialising in employment litigation/labour law.
Melanie is fluent in both English and French.
